The legendary Cleopatra was well-known for her silky smooth skin (aside from her amorous exploits, but that?s another story). But the secret was out ? the great woman used to bathe in milk. Soap recipe after recipe has been made to create the perfect soap that Cleopatra then used ? until studies have shown that she used ass? milk, not goat milk as once previously believed.

Which brings us to the reason for this topic.

Goat?s milk soap is said to be not for the beginner soap maker. There is no easy way to make this particular soap ? no melt and pour recipes for this one. You have to do it via cold process; there?s no other way to do so.

A friend of mine says that this is the closest recipe that could be called ?easy?. She made some trial and error batches for this one, gave me this recipe and allowed me to share it with you.
