Our bulk soap loaves business was designed to serve the soaper / bath and body shop who doesn’t have time to manufacture their own bars of soap.

All wholesale soap loaves – Bulk Soap Loaves are UNCUT Loaves-you cut and wrap. Bulk soap also comes in large blocks instead of loaves. This gives you even more freedom to choose what size your finished bar will become.

Our Soap By the Loaf site started when so many customers began requesting our soaps to use for sale in their own companies with their own labels. While the Green Pergola site does sell retail bars of handmade soap, soapbytheloaf.com dedicates itself solely to those looking for quality private label soap at a wholesale price.

All Bulk soaps are made with a mixture of all vegetable oils and contain olive oil, coconut oil, soybean and shea butter. Some specialty soaps may contain additional oils such as cocoa butter or castor oil. Our bulk soap loaves are ONLY scented with real essential oils from plants. We do not use artificial fragrance for our main line of soaps. A few fragrances will become available in the future in bulk blocks of soap. However, since we do not stock fragrance oil soaps in our own company, we would have nothing to do with leftovers soap loaves — which is why fragrance scented soaps can only be purchased in entire bulk blocks. ( A bulk block of soap is equal to three loaves of soap). One block of handmade soap is the lowest quantity we make at one pouring.

Many wholesale customers prefer to purchase bulk soap loaves so that they may cut the bars into the sizes they want and add their own labels. Private label soap is a way you can add quality handmade / homemade soap to your list of products at a minimal cost. Other terms for soap by the loaf are: soap logs, soap bricks, soap loaves or simply bulk soap. Purchasing wholesale natural soap by the log can also be an interesting market approach as many people cut the bars in front of their customers and charge by the ounce.
Who needs soap loaves? The possibilities go on and on. We have a wide variety of businesses that purchase bulk soap loaves for resale in their company – everyone from natural groceries in New York City to spas in Los Angeles.

Popular Soap Logs

The soap by the loaf site is back in full swing and many of our former customers are ordering from us again. There are 40 pounds of soap logs waiting to be shipped out to one customer and another fifty soap logs have been made for pending orders.

With our new soap molds, it took a while to get the hang of cutting the large block of soap into small logs of soap. Luckily, the first five logs of soap were for our own use and by the time we got to the sixth log, it was easy to get a straight cut.

So far, these are the tops selling soap logs on the soap by the loaf site:

garden mint soap log
lavender soap log
lemongrass sage soap log
oatmeal milk and honey soap log
orange ylang-ylang soap log
clove soap log

Those are the choices that seem to be on everyone’s list. I’m sure our old customers are doing an initial restocking of all the soaps that sold well for them in the past. As a little time passes, I’m sure the orders will become more diverse and the rest of the soap logs will get equal opportunity attention.

Low minimum wholesale soap

we know that times our tough right now for everyone. Plenty of customers want to include handmade soap into their line of products but have a problem with our six loaf minimum. So, we’ve decided to drop the ordering minimum for wholesale soap down to only three loaves of soap.

A three loaf minimum on wholesale soap would make an order be as low as only $68.00, depending on what soap what ordered. The $68.00 example is when a customer wants to buy an entire block of oatmeal honey soap.

We hope this new, lower minimum will make it easier for our customers to order the soaps they need, when they need them and still take advantage of the wholesale price.
